The fall color palette has been a popular one the last few years & just when I think it may be "out with the old & in with new"...I get another fall inquiry with the same requests. I'm definitely not mad at it. Looking back at this wedding from Oct 2021 & loving it just as much today as I did when we first started planning it. Pomegranates, succulents & marigolds combined with charcuterie boards by @acousticeventsac as the centerpieces for an intimate wedding @antiquitemidtown couldn't have come together more perfectly! Pretty sure it's safe to say this color palette is a classic for WTF. My favorite part about it is the couple gifted their guests the centerpieces. Then, from what was left, they saved & planted the succulents & geranium in their home garden for a gift that just keeps on giving! Had to brave the hurricane happening in my backyard to gather this bunch of viburnum and I didn't even get enough because I had to stop snipping to rush over & rescue what's left of my geraniums after the last storm. Have a feeling these gusty blows are fixin'ta rip my privet tree out of the ground. Currently, I am contemplating whether to wait it out or just suck it up & hope I don't get blown away or end up impaled by my own shears. I could also tether myself to the house & hope I don't become a human kite. Decisions decisions. I should definitely consider negotiating some sort of hazard pay with my boss, but that falls under the "don't bother me with this BS" category. Also. I am the boss...so that fight with my own self will continue. Not even @theflowermarshall will go outside! He hasn't done his doggy business at all today.🫣 He'd rather hold it than let the wind blow his wee all over him. At least he's got some #standards. On the upside, this wind is blowing the lake that's formed on my back patio into oblivion. I've been growing this scented geranium since last summer... and last night the wind broke it! Those of you who know...know how my heart longs to grow things...ANYTHING! I use them at home in my flower pots as well as send a few out with flower orders to help combat any aphids that my farmers & I may have missed during flower prep.
